For starters, I clearly stated the Heat have taken a step back from last year.

They were not last in the league last year….again as I stated. They have taken a step back.

Plus, OKC is not the same team the Heat beat in the finals. They have matured an additional year and their confidence has grown exponentially.

Hey….stick your head in the ground and pretend getting doubled up in rebounding is not an issue !!!

Not sure if you’ve ever watched the playoffs or the finals, in an NBA competition.

BUT historically the game slows WAAAAAY down ! So, all the little cute “position-less” small ball goes out of the window !

Successful teams have to be able to defend the paint……PERIOD !

Last year the heat did a better job and actually played better under the basket ball. This year, as evidenced by being LAST in the league in rebounding…..they have taken a step back.

There small ball “position-less” garbage simply wont work in a seven game series against the likes of The Thunder, The Clipper, The Spurs / Teams with seasoned and experienced big men!
If the Heat don’t make some trades, you better hope LBJ can put up 50 a night (like in Cleveland) to keep the games close !

YUP ….you got it right….BOSH IS WEAK ! Which is why the Heat are last in the league in rebounding !

Bosh is “supposed” to be the Big Man/ Center/ PF on the team but he is only averaging 7.5 RPG per game.
LBJ is averaging 8.3 RPG per game, while running point, SG and SF !

Gasol is averaging 8.0 RPG on limited minutes !

Plus you got Gasols weight wrong ! Gasol weighs 275 during the season and is closer to 290 in the off season.
Either you are uninformed or you intentionally reduced Gasols weight by 25lbs to attempt to justify your argument…which isn’t adding up FACTUALLY ….by the numbers !

Lastly, look at the last 2 acquisitions the heat have picked up (Birdman & Varnado) because Bosh can’t control the paint because he is getting boxed under the rim !

Gasol would be an upgrade to what the Heat need and Bosh is more of a finesse player and will fit better in what the lakers need.

The Heat’s identity is an athletic, up-tempo, defensively versatile team.
Pau Gasol doesn’t fit that at all, and it’s not even close.

In addition, Bosh’s role is as a floor spacer to open things up for Wade and LeBron. Meanwhile, Gasol acting as a floor-spacer for the Lakers is having one of the worst seasons of his career.

No idea why anybody would suggest a trade of Gasol for Bosh.

The issue is the lack of shots for Bosh, who is the second-most efficient player on the team.

Gasol isnt that much bigger than Bosh. Between them there is a difference of one inch in height and 15 pounds. Bosh is 6’11 235 and Gasol is 7’0 250. Bosh may not be a great rebounder, but he is defensively superior to Gasol and its not close. Gasol is overrated. He is a soft Euro big man who is past his prime. If the Heat decide to move Bosh, I can promise you they’d do a lot better than Gasol.

I’m sure the Heat are all over that one. The salaries even work, why wouldn’t they!

LBJ will pass the ball to anybody! But Bosh typically does not have position.

He is either being boxed under the rim or boxed out of the paint and doesn’t have a favorable position.

The guy is a 150 limp noodle !!!! He is too small to play Center (Hibbert Dominated him) and too weak to play against the likes of Blake, Love, Garnett and any other true PF.

Gasol is unhappy and being benched in L.A. Gasol would fill the middle just because he is a legit 7’0″ and other guys can’t shoot over him easily.

Get your DVR out and see how Gasol was dominant in the Olympics….the guy still has game and will fill the needs in Miami that Bosh is too weak and too small to fill.

TRADE BOSH FOR GASOL ……STRAT-UP !!! The salaries are in the same ball park to make a deal !
