First off your crazy. 2nd you clearly just look at stats and don’t watch the Sixers very much. While I like Holiday as a up and coming 22 year old, he still has a ton of holes in his game. He turns the ball over way to much, his defense is very suspect, and what offense does he run? They sit there and shoot jump shots way to much. No ball movement, no taking it to the hoop, no team chemistry. AI is a future HOFer, Holiday is a solid young PG/SG with a chance to be pretty good player. AI was way better.

on any given night a team can go in any arena in this league an get smacked. Jrue was on his griz. an was given Rayan Kidd the biz.still the bright spot for me was the play of Amar’e Stoudemire. yo STAT. this summer work out Dennis Rodman

First of all, I already said he can’t score like AI (few can). Second, to act like he scored 26 and 6 assists and that is the end of the story is “the most ridiuclous statement I’ve ever read”. He was a total liability on the defensive end, was abused in the post on a regular basis, generally was a gunner which made teammates less interested, and didn’t rebound ever (even though he had plenty of vertical to get them if he wanted to). Lynch, Hill, McKee, and Snow might not be hall of famers, but they were all solid players. Not to mention guys like McCollough off the bench, and another all star named Deke.

I’m a Sixers fan, and have been for 32 years of my life. You won’t find many bigger AI supporters than me, but he is what he is. An amazing scorer and ballhandler, who did little else. His career shooting percentage was aso awful, although I see you again failed to mention one of his many unflattering stats.

How was taht team that went to the finals less talented? They were players that fit specific roles, but they were not an untalented team. They were a team built around a specific player, AI. Plus they were in a terrible eastern conference, which was the ONLY reason they made the finals. For goodness sake, a team taht I would only describe as solid went to the next 2 finals (NJ) without much resistance. Making a single finals, during that era in the east, while not useless, is far from an amazing achievement.

All in all, if my comment is the “most ridiuclous thing you ever read”, maybe you should read something over a 6 year old reading level

And it ain’t so…typical dog days of January game for a good team who are also working in key players (not just amare, also feltons 1st game back) back to the line up. Also a very meaningless game for the Knicks after the big one they had on Thursday in Boston….had “trap game” written all over this one before it even started.

@ somkat..Knick fan here and I must say that is the most ridiculous statement I’ve ever read. Iverson averaged 26 and 6 his entire career as an UNDERSIZED two guard! Dude not only was the most prolific scorer of his era by leading the league in scoring multiple times with the likes of Jordan, Shaq, Kobe, Vince, T-mac all in their primes during the same time but also lead the league in steals multiple times and minutes played. He also took a far less talented team than the one ya’ll got there now to the finals…Jrue cant even get them to .500. Jrue is a very good player but please stop the blasphemy.

Jrue is a better overall player than AI ever was. AI was an amazing scorer and ballhandler, but no other part of his game was even above average. Jrue maybe can’t score like him (few can), but he defends, sets up teammates, run the offense and rebounds better than AI ever did

Saw the Sixers from courtside against the Lakers at Staples Jan 1st and Holiday was very polished for such a young guy. Think he had 25 & double digit assist. Great shooter. Wish he was a Laker. He doesnt get the love because of all the great guards in the Eastern conf. but he is the real deal.

Knicks also put too much into the Celtics game and had nothing left for this matchup. They were poised for a letdown after that game, we were just at the right place at the right time.
