Agree. Celtics blew that lead going to the second half. I guess the Grizzles didn’t want to take any chances by coughing up a big lead. Teams make runs in the league, Evans should know better.

Put a sock in it Reggie! I was at the game and if it’ll ease your troubled mind a little the biggest reason Coach Hollins put some of the starters back in was because they played so little in the first half as our bench was blowing you out. Coach wanted the starters to at least break up a sweat, and I’m sure he wanted Z-Bo to have a chance to add to his league leading double-double total . If you’re a Griz fan you know the team is notorious for getting big leads and blowing them. I’m sure this was on Hollin’s mind too. Memphis fans hate Reggie because of all his flopping, trash talking, and whining from last year’s playoffs. I’m sure the fact Reggie was booed early and often also added to his little pique. Get over it Reggie. Are you Reggie Evans or Dale Evans (the old cowboy Roy Rogers TV wife). Yea, we’ll see you in Crooklyn. Like Bart Scott of the Jets said last year. CAN’T WAIT!!

I get what Reggie Evans is saying, but a 23 point halftime deficit isn’t an insurmountable lead.
Just ask the Celtics, who blew that lead against the Hawks and eventually lost in double-overtime.

For what it’s worth, playing 5 bench guys or 4 bench guys + 1 starter to me isn’t a huge difference – the other team isn’t going all-out to run up the score.
