Gerald Henderson hits the game-winning three as Bobcats beat Timberwolves (VIDEO)

Jan 26, 2013, 11:01 PM EDT

This was a pretty insane sequence, and an appropriate one to result in the Bobcats snapping their 16-game home losing streak, which was just two shy of the NBA record held by the 1993-94 Dallas Mavericks.

The Bobcats almost turned it over on this series more than once, but ultimately Kemba Walker chased down the ball in the backcourt, and then brought it up and dished to Gerald Henderson with under eight seconds remaining.

Henderson had to stop and fake his defender before launching a contested three-pointer that found nothing but the bottom of the net to give the Bobcats the victory.

Minnesota continues to be decimated by injury, and was without regular rotation players Nikola Pekovic and Alexey Shved in this one. But the Bobcats will take wins any way they come, and make no mistake — that was a tough shot that Henderson knocked down, considering the way the play unfolded and the fact that he had to reset after his man flew by defensively.
