He sounded jealous of their soon to be awesome nickname! Lol that was funny.

The way we played tonight I can’t say we did anything to change his mind.

Lol it is a funny name, but at least it makes sense geographically. Not to mention that from now on, when I see a pelican, I will look to see if it has a unibrow.

Seriously though, who the fck decided pelican was a suitable mascot?

McHale always looked like some mutant creature himself. All he knows about birds is the Bird whose reflected glory he basked in.

This is what I just read from you:

“Hi, I’m Maz, I know nothing about NBA history regarding players other than the big names.”

      Yuppp.

@maz Thanks for making yourself look like an idiot, saves me the effort. Look at McHales’s numbers, was a great player.

McHale was an all time great, virtually unstoppable down low,as well as a good defender, passer and rebounder. He played on a literally broken down foot that would have sidelined most players and he suffered for it the last few years. But that was to be expected on those Celtic teams. The only player I have ever seen who was as slick down deep was Hakeem. And Pelicans is a great name, fits the city and the state……true dat….
