Kurt the biggest problem the Lakers have is Dumbtoni and his too rigid adherence to his losing system. It was sheer obstinance that caused the little idiot buss boy to hire Dumbtoni instead of waiting for that second interview with Phil Jackson. He’s trying to do things his way instead of following the winning formula his Dad used.

The Lakers have great players except for Ancient Nash, he is the one who most needs to be traded away. The Lakers needed a young point guard and look at the ancient piece of garbage Kupcake brought us. Nash has been a liability on offense but mostly on defense, which he never plays.

As long as Dumbtoni and Nash are on the team I am going to root for my beloved Lakers to lose every game in hopes that Kobe will blow up and demand Dumbtoni be fired or Kobe traded away. It looks like that’s the only option left for hoping the Lakers get better.

Fire Dumbtoni!!! Trade Away Nash!!! We Want Gasol!!!

Nicely put Caeser….BUT you probably lost most FAKER fans with “common denominator” .

ahahahah….they are dumb as a box of rocks if they can;t figure out, that a guy is taking more shots than the other 3 stars on the team COMBINED !!!

And the past 3 games, he’s taken all the shots but only shooting 30% in all 3 games !!!

Pau’s frustration + Dwight’s frustration+Lack of Defense x not enough touches in the paint=_________.

That move helps the Lakers offense (Bosh being a stretch-4/5 fits D’Antoni’s system perfectly) but hurts their defense enormously (Bosh has improved defensively in Miami, but is nowhere near the level of Howard when it comes to shot-blocking and rebounding).

Doubt Miami does this since they probably can’t resign Dwight unless he does not take a max contract.

If anything, it would be Bosh for Pau.

It doesn’t matter. D’Antoni wouldn’t play Bosh and Pau together. They really should try to trade Pau or Dwight for Ryan Anderson in New Orleans. Maybe they can get Eric Gordon as well since he doesn’t want to be there. I doubt the cap numbers would work, but that’s there only option.

That’s absurd, he isn’t Reggie Evans. He doesn’t have a jump shot but he has above average post moves. Dwight averaged more than 20 pts and 10 rebs his entire career. Even under Bickerstaff this year he was putting up close to that while still rehabbing from back surgery. Don’t fall into the media trap that these guys just forgot how to play basketball, they’re being coached by Mike D’Antoni. Guy couldn’t figure out how to win with Shaq, so can’t expect him to figure out how to win with Dwight and Pau.

Here’s an interesting idea. What if the Miami Heat traded Chris Bosh to the Lakers for Dwight Howard? The salaries have to be close…and both would benefit from the deal: the Lakers could keep Pau Gasol who has been their acting center for the last 3-4 seasons and won 2 championships as their center. The Lakers would get more of a shooting big man in Bosh. The Heat would get Howard who would thrive with Wade and LeBron – and it would help the Heat with the rebounding and “lack of a center” problem. I really think it is a win-win situation for both teams…

The problem with the whole “trade Kobe” mentality is the same as Chicago fans have with the trade Boozer sentiments… who’d want them? I’m not a Kobe fan or hater, but if I look at it practically, would I, as another team’s GM, want him considering his contract, his age, his ego, etc? Short answer: no. Hard to say that a team like the Lakers are “stuck” with a player of his skill level, but in essence, that’s exactly where they are. They’d have trouble getting rid of him at this point.

Well the plus side Howard will be gone next year,Pau will be traded, Kobe will close to retire or trade for picks they have a lot of Cap so keep the great coach they have cause he is doing great NOT and than the buss family can go cheap and suck for the rest of time congrats on that lakers

It’s LA. It’s all about face time, stroking one’s ego, and having it stroked. One of the things I admired about the “Showtime” Lakers was the presence of guys who knew their place as role players and didn’t need constant reinforcement of their self-image, guys like Green, Cooper, and Rambis.
