Why wasn’t he resting his legs? He was shooting poorly from the opening minutes in the last 2 games and didn’t shoot well until late in the game. How does that fit with the tired legs theory? Wouldn’t his legs be fresher in the beginning of the game than they are in the 4th quarter? This really doesn’t make a lot of sense. Maybe he’s just looking to shed the role of defending the opposing PG. If that’s the case he needs to talk to D’Antoni and not the press. I wouldn’t be surprised if his legs are tired but considering the fact that he shoots better later in the game, it doesn’t really ring true.

The Lakers need a great young point guard, that’s why they dumped Fish. Now they [picked up the Ancient One who never played a lick of defense his whole career.

With a clueless coach who plays Kobe too many minutes to an old geezer point guard who can’t run it’s no wonder Kobe is being tasked to do too much. I give Kobe all the credit for being willing to abuse himself for the team’s sake. I don’t blame Kobe for his bad shooting, that’s the fault of Dumbtoni for not creating an offense with the All Star players he has to command.

If the Lakers can’t beat the lowly Raptors on the road then they have no chance winning a single playoff series since they’ll have to become road warriors, right now they’re road wimps. Kobe does need to take a salary reduction if he wants the team to surround him with better players and a good bench.

When will you dimwitted sports pundits start pointing the finger at Dumbtoni and Nash as being the failures of the Lakers?
