he leads them in 20 pt games off the bench in fact he has more 20 pt games than the majority of other sgs in the league even the starters

Hes 3rd in the league in 4th quarter scoring behind Kobe and Durant

The Clippers are 12-1 when he leads them in scoring

Some even say that outside of CP3 that hes been the key to how they play as what hes able to do is what allows them to play two units effectively

Oh hes also doing all this in 29 minutes per game and every player you could bring up to counter it is doing it in 5-10 minutes more of playing time

Who cares what other teams shoot that doesnt even make any sense .

Barnes is able to do what he does because of Crawford hes made the entire bench unit better because when other teams gameplan for the Clippers they think CP3,Blake, and then Jamal . The attention he gets opens up the floor for Barnes cutting , for Bledsoe to not have to focus so much on facilitating and allows guys like Turiaf and Odom to contribute without even worrying about their offense.

I always look at these situations not what I think they should be doing but on how the other players and coaches think because they know who they are game planning for and who keys a team success because they are the ones watching tape and trying to stop it . Crawfords play is almost the 3rd or 4th thing that comes out of opposing coaches mouths.

You dont want to give jamal credit for anything which is fine but to claim the opposing coaches should share your nativity is ridiculous. . You think when the Clippers play the Warriors tomorrow that mark Jackson is telling his team dont worry about Crawford hes overrated look at his fg% that there are teams that shoot a higher percentage than him ….

The team believes he makes them better isnt that what counts ? Why would they send out flyers and promote a player if what you claimed is true ? Do you believe that the Clippers would have the second best record in the entire league ? because Im sure that they dont and Im sure that the rest of the western conferences coaches would say the same .

Crawfords been one of the best guards in the west despite shooting percentage and his play despite shooting percentage is one of the reasons the Clippers are a 1/2 game out of having the best record in the league.

Crawford = 0 double doubles this year. +/- is a useful stat, but it’s no secret that better teammates will improve your +/-, and he plays on the second unit of one of the best and deepest teams.

I think Crawford is the most overrated player in the NBA. He chucks a lot of shots at a low percentage while playing no defense and not making others better. He has skills and can be fun to watch at times with his handles, but end of the day hes is far from an all star is my point. Matt Barnes is their best bench player so far. Shooting a high percentage, playing great D, and rebounding outstandingly for a bench SF.
