Kurt.. If you make a jump stop, u lose the ability to pivot. An extra step with either foot is traveling.

As a Blazer I have to vote for my Lillard, but Irving is nasty and definitely showed him up last night. I think they both have very high ceilings but Irving is far quicker and looks to be improving very well. Hard to judge improvement for Lillard yet since the majority of his focus has been improving defense but I have lots of faith Id like him to be more aggressive like Irving, but model his game somewhat after Parker. Irving is beast though no doubt, and showed he is the better of the two right now.

Objectively, Id call his pivot foot his left while he is cupping the ball after the last dribble, not his left when he is shot faking.

Correct. If you make a jump stop either foot can be your pivot foot.

As a selfish Australian I was hoping that Kyrie would remain just outside the upper echelon of point guards so that he’d try to get FIBA to let him play for Aus in international tournaments. Looks like it’s not to be – definitely a lock for the USA team in a few years.

Yeah – certain players get away with it more than others but I don’t think Kyrie travels according to the NBA rules. Isn’t there a hopstep rule where if both feet touch the floor at the same time either one can be counted as your pivot and it’s only counted as one step?

Do you watch the NBA??? The whole league travels… LeBron has got to be the worst offender in the league.. (crap dripple).. but all the stars travel… and get away with it. D-wade, Carmello..CP3.. Jordan back in the day.. Scottie Pippen was about the worst I’ve seen… and he would carry the ball like crazy! I’m not saying I agree with it… but don’t act like Kyrie is the only one doing it.
Maybe if you learned how to travel.. you’d be in the NBA earning millions too.. ha

Been sayin it for awhile this kid is easily gonna be the top pg in 2 years. U say kyrie is a scoring pg but do u see who hes playin with. This team is insanely young an there is no other threat on the team to score outside of kyrie! Obviously im a cavs fan but even i know that kyrie is the only scoring threat we have. If kyrie had a Tyson chandler like CP3 he would have more assists per game. Cp is the best now but kyrie is not far behind.

Are u kidding me? Kyrie is a terrific talent.. But he is not going to overtake cp3 anytime soon. Cp3 is the best leader in the league. Kyrie is a scoring point guard and cannot set up his teammates anywhere near the level of cp3. Cp3 could score 40 a night but enjoys setting up teammates more. He’s led a horrible hornets team to the top of the western conference with dwest as his sidekick. He changed the sports joke clippers and they are at the top of the west. Sure Bledsoe is getting much love (deserved), but Paul don’t need Bledsoe.. Paul is the best pg by farrr.
