Your statistical analysis is a bit out of wack, you cant compare a 5 to almost being a 10, to 35 almost being a 40.
5 is 50% of 10
35 is 87.5% of being 40
I understand the point you were trying to make, but it is like not even like 20% applicable.

Stating the obvious??? He is shooting 47% from the field. Regardless of what LBJ & KD are shooting from the field, IT’S STILL EFFICIENT!!! The only thing that’s obvious here is that you let your BITTERNESS and HATE for Kobe, get in the way of the “FACTS” & the “FACT” is he is shooting 47%. Why do I even bother. The writer was oohing about Jordan’s averaging 37 ppg. He must be really young, and not pay a whole lot of attention to basketball history. I believe Chamberlain averaged 53+ points per game one season. That is impressive! Especially since it was against some of the best defensive centers in basketball history.

Good article. Never thought about it before but leading the league in volume scoring and efficiency simultaneously would be amazing. LeBron won’t get MVP this year anyway… people want to vote for somebody else for a change. (Just like when Barkley won a ridiculous MVP in 1993.)

I have been telling myself, not too feed the “TROLL’S”!! But…… All joke’s aside. Kobe can get shot happy. Any Lakers fan that disagree’s with that, is just lying too himself/herself. He is shooting 47% from the feild this year, which is CRAZY!! Even if he is shooting alot, he is being efficent doing it. Weather he pattern’s his game after MJ’s( which he has done ) or not, He is one of the BEST too EVER lace them up. What I’m saying is, don’t waste ALL your time HATING on him. Appreciate GREATNESS like this while you still can. Cuz their is a GOOD chance, you WON’T see it again!! I’m Just Saying!!!……..

The season is not over ! We are not even at the All-Star Break. So, until the leading scorer award is handed out………IT”S STILL RELEVANT !!!

Accuracy and Precision should account for SOMETHING !

Also, helping your “TEAM” win, while allowing other players to contribute….aka – practice good basketball “FUNDAMENTALS” by not being a friggin Ball-Hawk…should mean something too.

38 games in- Kobe has 1104 points and has taken 800 FRIGGIN SHOTS at 47 %

Durant has taken 695 shots ….a whole 105 SHOTS FEWER and he has 1100 points.

So, Durant only trails by 4 points in scoring but is FAR SUPERIOR in EVERY other category !

1. Shooting percentage
2. Team Wins
3. Shot selection
4. Free Throw %
5. Boards
6. Three Point %
7. Fewer Turn Overs
8. Fewer minutes per game

SO….if a thinking man were to select the “BETTER SCORER / OVERALL TEAM PLAYER” ….

IT”S NOT EVEN CLOSE !!!

Note: LBJ is “HANDS DOWN” the MVP at this point of the season ! He has 70 fewer total points than Durant but dude is shooting 55% !

LBJ is running away from Durant in EVERY OTHER CATEGORY mentioned above 1-8 !
