You can still get Gasol 30 minutes a game, 15 as a howard backup and 15 with howard on the court. He can be the playmaker and play with Kobe when Nash and Howard are out of the game – we know he and Bryant can make it happen together

It’s simply not true though. Not at Laker games anyway. I’ll admit I’ve seen people up and leave Dodger games early but a Lakers game is an event. That costs some money and takes some planning man. I’ve can say with certainty I’ve never seen a single person around me leave early at a Laker game. I mean they are so bad on defense you want to leave just to stop the pain, but we stay. Unless the person saying that has been to several games I don’t believe it. I mean Bill Simmoms the largest Laker hater alive said he wouldn’t let his daughter attend a Lakers game becuase he’s afraid she’d enjoy it too much.

Bring Gasol from the bench permanently. It balances the team. We’ve got four primary playmakers in the starting linep and zero off of the bench. And Earl Clark is a better match for stretch fours.

Jesus would look similar to which picture? Gasol’s? Yeah right. The skin color of the people of that region during Jesus’ time was black as coal. The invaders from the east turned the complexions lighter and lighter as the years went on but Jesus probably looked closer to Antwan Jamison than Gasol.

I have been going to Lakers games for years and years and years and I have never once seen anyone leave at the half. Truth is, the tickets are so expensive that anyone who has paid to be there, really wants to be and would be crazy to leave early. The team ain’t great now, but unlike many fans I can say I have faith in the organization. Go Lakers.

From a non laker fan…….

I’m really hoping they do well because I have a pair of tickets 8 rows off the floor when they meet my Clippers in April. I’m hoping that one game will pay for half my season but who’s gonna cough up $2000 to see a Laker team that has been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs?

I wanna see them have a chance at the 8 seed when they face my Clippers, sell my tix for 2 large and then see the Clippers dismantle them and crush any hopes of a playoff picture. That would really make my year!

YET.. He wouldn’t be a laker… That franchise is too sorry for him. The lakers are about to drop gasol in order to invest more payroll in their fleet of personal trophy shiners. If you aren’t gonna win a title any time soon you better make sure your past trophies are awfully shiny!

The inconvenient truth is that Pau should only be playing 18-20 minutes on this team. If D’antoni so much as considers pulling either Clark or World Peace for Gasol, consider the Lakers season over.

It’s not a bad idea to bring him off the bench. Clark (or Hill if/when he’s healthy) add a different dimension to the starting lineup, just like Pau adds a different dimension (talent) to the second unit.
