As opposed to downward very quickly like your Lakers?

In the last week+ the Celtics have gone from out of the playoffs to the #7 seed. Maybe the Lakers should strive for that kind of “going nowhere fast”.

I would definitely expect a small trade, or at least be looking into it. At this point it’s clear they do not need to blow up the nucleus mid-season.
