No reason to make a move at the deadline, at least a major move. They still dont’ know what they have. They built the team to go around Bynum this off-season, and he hasnt’ been there. If he is going to make it back after the break, there is no reason not to just wait and see what you have.

The decision on wether to give him a max deal or not looms large over the next 5 years of the franchise. They should give him every chance possible to show if it’s a gamble worth making. So unless the trades are going to make the team even better suited to play around Bynum, I think it’s a bad idea.

I just see the sixers run a lot of sets that would be trouble for the other team, if they just had a stopper at the rim, but the best the have is Hawes. Adding Bynum, not to mention having a post presence on offense, can make that Holiday/Turner/Young/Wright lineup look pretty nice.

Not necessarily.

There is a chance Howard might leave LA. If he decides to test the open market, Philly may have an outside shot at landing him. In Philly, or most other teams that can sign him to a max contract, he would be the face of the franchise from day one, not second fiddle to Kobe.

The East is going to be really fun to watch after the All star break . Bynum should be back , D-Rose and Granger too . Cant wait until teams are at full strength .
