DeMarcus Cousins shoves Vince Carter in face, gets ejected (VIDEO)

Jan 11, 2013, 8:00 AM EDT

It wasn’t accidental. It was spur of the moment and not premeditated.

And it got DeMarcus Cousins ejected with a flagrant two.

With the Kings down two and 41 seconds to go in the overtime, Cousins was triple team then stripped of the ball, which bounced around rolled out to the side and was grabbed by the Mavs. As Cousins was standing back up he shoves Vince Cater in the face.

It was another moment where he just lost control. He realizes it almost instantly and tries to grab Carter and keep him up. But by then the damage is done.

The refs called it a flagrant one, reviewed the footage, and raised the foul to a flagrant two and ejected Cousins.

And because it is Cousins a fine is coming from the league office. Bet on it.

Does anyone know, what V.C reaction was when he got up????

    • captainwisdom8888 - Jan 11, 2013 at 6:32 PM

there are certain players in the league who by their actions find themselves apologizing every week for a different incident. Then there are players who know how to be men, and do the job they are paid handsomely to do, and they do it with grace and ease.

It all boils down to respect, some people just get it, and others…like cousins…”just dont get it”

Aw he held him so gently on the way down!

Come on Vince, you would have thought he was stabbed and just died with that over dramatic fall.

NBA teams are going to have to start hiring former NBA players to become mentors to these kids. Every move the kid makes is magnified, and after awhile everyone gets sick of it, it is time to move the kid, though a new enviroment in Seattle might just be good for him. Kemp could be a good mentor to the kid in Seattle with all of the troubles he was overcome.

Vc is a p.o.s. He should go join his cousin in China on a 2/17 team.

Vince Carter must have told him that his girlfriend tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios.

This kid is REALLY talented but right he’s going thru his immature phases and need to GROW ASAP or he’s going to find himself out of the NBA and become another sad story.

Trade this fella while he still has a value.

    • zerole00 - Jan 11, 2013 at 1:23 PM

Everyone knows he has potential, but his trade value is low right now. You sell stocks when they peak.

You folks are misunderstanding the kid again….

  16. mrwright313 - Jan 11, 2013 at 2:25 PM

Someone needs to get this kid a shrink. I’m willing to lay 4:1 he has some kind of personality disorder a’la Brandon Marshall.

  20. surly1n1nd1anapol1s - Jan 11, 2013 at 7:41 PM

That’s a low blow at Rasheed. Far superior player than this fool will ever be.
