Could definitely see Rudy get traded to the Lakers for Steve Blake and a 2nd rounder. Has David Stern kind of feel to it to make the Lakers better.

Calderon for one year.. Expiring contracts that big are very valuable. They’re trying to save money and get under luxury tax. I would expect Toronto to add a sg/sf because they have a lot of them and Memphis would have a huge hole there without Rudy.

Raps will take anyone that can shoot a jump shot from 10 feet in the last 5 minutes of a game. Anyone that can make it 5 of 10 times, that would be a 200 % improvement over what is on the roster now.Toronto gets the stupidest GMs. At least the Maple Leafs got rid of Burke. The raps need to cut their GM loose now

Rudy Gay and Tony Allan to the Raps for Calderon, Derozan and Alan Anderson and both teams get better in the areas they need to take steps forward.

So let me get this right…. Grizzlies have Conley and Bayless (who started with TOR last season), but yet Grizzlies would accept Calderon too????

Im not sure the Raps need another swingman on there roster. The rook Ross has earned his increased minutes. I am sure they cannot afford to give up a double/double guy like Eddie D.

Would hate to see Calderon go, but it’s a foregone conclusion at the point. I definitely don’t think that they should trade Davis. There’s no need to give up youth right now to get Gay. They are not a championship team. They are at most a 7th seed, and getting Gay isn’t going to take them deep into the playoffs. Keep Davis and try to rebuild with youth.
