Usually when someone wins an argument, they just say “scoreboard!”, and leave it at that. Such a short term response. The Celtics don’t say, “scoreboard”. They say, “RAFTERS”. As in SEVENTEEN of those banner things hanging from the…. I’m not a Celtics fan, I grew up in Chicago, but in this case, ‘Melo, until you win something, just shut the “F” up. Lol is that a serious comment? Why would the Knicks be scared of seeing the Celtics? When Felton comes back he’ll torch Rondo (provided he doesn’t push another ref, player or throw another ball into the crowd) and Shumpert on the wing will lock down Pierce, leaving Melo mismatches all over the court and for Felton/Kidd to exploit the size advantage on the pick and roll with Chandler inside, not to mention the Knicks have a much, much better bench than the Celtics and probably the best 6th man in the league, outside of maybe Jamal Crawford, and will have the best 7th man once Amare gets more games to round into his old form…Face it, when the Knicks are fully healthy and on their game, the Celtics have no shot of beating this team in the playoffs

As long as Carmelo is a baby and cant handle trash talk, the Celtics will continue to get into his head. Garnett knew exactly what he was doing. And by the way, nothing matters until the postseason. Celtics have an old team, who are going to cruise along the regular season and then try to turn it up. Theyre not that good, but neither are the Knicks. Heat win the east anyways.
