Celtics destroyed the heat in the 2010 playoffs…when the celtics were winning the title in 08, Miami was nowhere to be found in those playoffs…so the heat are 2-1 in playoff series in 3 years and they have the same amount of titles in 4 years…Hardly the heats little brother

I know *you’re new to reading and writing, fumbduck, but I’ve probably watched and played more basketball than you’ll simulate on your NBA2K game. And KG couldn’t carry Jordan’s nut towel and is in zero ways comparable. Jordan could say whatever he wanted to because he was always a winner. KG is a loser.

My hero was always Glenn Rice because we played the same position and Tim Hardaway because of the crossover but way back then I was Barkley fan, and still am.

Don’t hate us Heat fans because we got LeBron, hate us because we got Pat Riley.

Today’s NBA is funny in this since there was a time not too long ago when a guy like KG would have been picking up his teeth for even going there with that garbage. Melo had the right idea just bad timing. If it were me I would have waited and for the right time and place to handle that.

Garnett isn’t a “wannabe tough guy.” He’s a professional basketball player with an amazing head game. He picks and chooses his battles. He wants to draw technicals from melo, because Melo is a relevant player. remember the Humphries incident? He wasn’t the problem then. He doesn’t taunt the players that he can still physically dominate over. He walks a fine line, and the refs watch him, so he’s gotta choose his battles carefully, but if he calculates the risk and the worse case scenario is a double ejection, the Celtics have a better chance against a melo-less knicks even without KG than the knicks have, especially with a rusty Amar’e, and no Felton. J.R. can only provide so much offense, especially when he’s being checked by Avery Bradley

Bitter isn’t a good look.

Guys like KG, Rondo…they give the league color. Personality. Even you if HATE them…they – and by extension, the NBA – are still generating an emotion. And hate is a very powerful emotion.

Ask any entertainer…if you don’t love them…they hope you hate them. Because at least you feel something for them as opposed to them being (as you said) irrelevant.

KG is far from irrelevant.
