Basketball critics and people like you miss the point. I do not know much about you, but I know enough about basketball critics where I feel that they have shown me more than enough evidence to prove that they are lazy.

Good or great owners do way more good or great that bad.

The same goes with general managers.

Adrian Wojnarowski For example is wrong for suggesting that Jerry Krause is a Hall of Fame general manager. For as many great things as he’s been given credit for He has also done enough horrible things to ruin a franchise.

Do to the fact that Jerry Krause and John Paxson were responsible for many of the losing seasons that our team endured after Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson left Jerry Reinsdorf was also culpable of letting those two idiots stay. If your general managers are doing something obviously wrong And someone with less supposedly intelligence knows it you have to stop all of the wrongdoing.

A lot of teams are not cool it is because of keeping bad general managers for too long.

The Maloof brothers have Geoff Petrie for too long in Sacramento. Now that franchise is going nowhere.

Those brothers could’ve at least been “Hall of a very good” owners. Now they look like guys who shouldn’t deserve the privilege of running a team.

The similar can be said about Jerry Reinsdorf because smart businessman do not keep dumb people in town. If you want success keep smart people; not morons who are doing obviously wrong things.

Hall of Fame owners win with multiple administrations!!!

So in order to get in you have to be an owner like Red Auerbach (yes he had ownership stake in the Celtics), Bill Davidson, and Jerry Buss. They all won under multiple administrations/eras.

Jerry had one great era and didn’t do enough to be great as often as possible!!! Thanks to being loyal to Jerry Krause (his buddy who benefitted from having Phil Jackson as an eye for talent), Tim Floyd, john Paxson, and other bozos he’s not worthy of HOF status!!!

Now, with us only putting all the eggs in Derrick Rose’s basket we won’t win titles!!! We need a real scoring 6’10″-7’0″+ guy to help us!!!

Reinsdorf let Bulls unnecessarily bleed!! Great owners prevent or stop the bleeding when they need to do well!!!

Jerry Buss and Bill Davidson (RIP) were examples of that!!!

No, you don’t pay him the minimum. That’s the point. He didn’t. He didn’t lowball him, he gave him the most lucrative annual deals in the history of sports.

“the guy needs to learn how to pay for near potential, which should have happened in Chandler’s case..” You conveniently overlooked the 6 year $63m deal that Reinsdorf inked Chandler to in 2005 (a deal that didn’t expire until after the Dallas title run). Signing Ben Wallace was a basketball decision made by basketball executives, not Jerry Reinsdorf. He listens to basketball executives and makes financial decisions. That’s it.

So we let Tyson Chandler walk, watch him be key to someone else getting a ring, and who did we get in return?…oh yeah. Ben Wallace. The guy needs to learn how to pay for near potential, which should have happened in Chandler’s case, or we’re always going to be littered with more Ben Wallace/Kirk Hinrich/Rip Hamilton has-beens.

Reinsdorf doesn’t draft people. People have got to get over this Reinsdorf is cheap crap. It is unequivocally false. A big part of the reason we see astronomical, stupefying contracts being handed out today is because he willingly gave Michael Jordan $30+ million PER YEAR multiple times. He doesn’t pay astronomical sums for mediocre teams because it’s a stupid thing to do from a business perspective and from a basketball perspective.

As much as I had to admit, the Bulls HAVE been good at scouting talent. Jordan was the #3 pick, they worked like heck to get Pippen from Seattle, The Bulls bought Tyson Chandler into the league and trained him into an all-star, Ben Gordon could have stayed as a star next to Rose… there have been a lot of good players drafted.

I don’t know if the drafting credit belongs to Reinsdorf or Krause… but Reinsdorf deserves some dings for drafting solid guys, then letting them walk when they get too expensive for his cheap tastes. If he was in a smaller market he’d have choked a long time ago. Unless tanking the roster is part of his plan to draft potential GOATS sort of like what they’re doing this year… if that is indeed his plan then yeah he deserves it

NO WAY should Jerry Krause get in. He had two good draft picks (Pippen and Horace Grant) and made a good trade (Cartwright) but his lack if drafting ability hurt the Bulls after their 6th title. They also went 93-280 after their 6th title, as Krause insisted on rebuilding and couldn’t attract any free agents! Also hired maybe one of the worst coaches in Tim Floyd.
