Some coaches can. Popovich, for example, could easily get their perimeter players back to their All-Star levels of production. Tom Thibodeau can get nearly any roster to play good defense. The question is if there is an avaliable coach capable of doing it.

The Nyets can take all the time they want, they’re not getting Phil Jackson as long as Deranged Deron Williams is there, you know the coach killer. Phil & Jeanie aren’t going to want to live in some garbage area like Brooklyn when they’re used to living in a Southern Cali beach town. Get a clue Kurt, if you lived in a Southern Cali beach town would you want to move to Brooklyn? No way Jose!

Carlesimo is a good coach so the Nyets are smart to give him some time. So unlike the little idiot buss boy who just had to be in a rush to bring in Dumbtoni who is the second worst coach the Lakers ever had, right behind Clueless Clown Brown.

If Daddy Buss is smart he’ll fire his little idiot boy and give Phil and Jeanie the Lakers as a wedding present. Jeanie could run the show while Phil coaches until he decides to become management.

I don’t think that there is a coach in the league who can win a ring with that roster. This team has been Billy KIng’d, which means that they are pretty much stuck at this level of talent for the next few years with no cap flexibility and a gaggle of bad contracts.
