Jrue is a hell of a player and I have enjoyed watching him grow over the years. But I dont think hes ready yet to be considered an all star . Whats holding him back is his turnovers. Just look at last nights game and you’ll see what im talking about. He puts up a triple double but turns the ball over 6 times including at the end of the game with his team down by 2 a play that directly lead to their loss. When he gets those under control , which I have all the faith in the world that he will, then I will consider him an all star.
Even though none of that really matters when discussing an NBA All-Star game. You can be a bum or 5 years past all star caliber play and still make it to the all star game in the NBA as long as your name is recognizable enough or your Asian.

You are so hilarious. It’s easy to parrot cliches, but basketball analysts are singing a different tune. They are praising Nash for his effort on defense. Obviously, he’s never going to be on the All-Defensive team, but his defense has not been the reason the Lakers are losing games. There has been a lot of bad defense from the whole team. Who do you know who can stop CP3, Westbrook, Ty Lawson, etc. one on one? Let me tell you, no one is going to consistently defend these players one on one, although there are a few players who excel on the defensive end. How good do you think any of these elite PGs are at stopping Steve Nash? The players you mentioned all have great respect for Steve Nash. If you’ll take a look at Holiday’s numbers he has been playing like an All-Star. He has a triple-double already tonight, and the game isn’t even over. Why don’t you try and get some new material. What you are using is stale.
