Don’t worry Kurt, Phil Jackson will Just Say Nyet to the Nyets. Phil isn’t going to waste his time arguing with that coach killer Deranged Deron Williams. The Nyets aren’t good enough for Phil to come in and try to rebuild. PJ Carlesimo is a good coach and the Nyets should just let him do his thing. Heck the Nyets have a much better coach in Carlesimo than the Lakers do in Dumbtoni.

I think they’re a few months too late. With cap space and giving Phil have the opportunity to spend it and build the team as he saw fit? He might have jumped at that opportunity for the right price. But they’re locked into their current roster thanks to overpaying for basically everybody. Phil would need to believe they were capable of contending “as is.” Does anybody really believe that to be the case?

Why would Phil Jackson want to coach a talented team burdened with internal dysfunction and have to deal with the demands of win-now ownership? Have you been following this guys career?

Why would Phil Jackson want to coach this dysfunctional team? There is talent on this team but the talent level’s not at all worth the aggravation that is sure to follow? Then there is the owner who wants to win now. Not a good receipt for success.
