If Ainge had already not made so many bad deals, he could be packaging Perk and Big Baby for Cousins. But at this point in time, he would probably be thinking, I am better off with Perk and Big Baby.

C’s will have to trade Pierce to get any quality player. They won’t trade Rondo cause he is young, talented and has a good contract. KG just said he is looking at retirement on a year to year basis, which is telling teams, if you trade for me, I am going to retire. The rest of the C’s team are just mediocre, dime a dozen players.

I say send him to Boston, along with kobe, daren williams, chandler, jr smith and ron artest. It wouldn’t make sense position-wise but it would round up the biggest jerks in the league onto one team that we can laugh at when they fall apart.

Cousins is a better rebounder than Bosh, im not sure he is better defensively. I would love to have Cousins on board, but not if it means giving up Bosh. Considering who is interested (Boston, Detroit, and Miami) and their lack of resources, I dont think Cousins is going anywhere.

The Heats glaring rebounding and low post deficiencies far outweigh Bosh’s 15-17 pts a game, besides, Cousins 16ppg and 10 rpg will surely make up for that and he has a midrange jumper also.
Your just not getting from Bosh defendively what you need and with Cousins you would be getting a potential long term solution to the one weakness the Heat has.
If I was the Heat, i would do it in a Heartbeat.

Big Cuz to BOS would be huge. But for who? Sounds good now so as long as Garnett and Pierce are around, but a Rondo-Cousins future sounds toxic and volitile at best….and with that said….do it!!!

As for DET, unless they are giving up anyone not named Monroe, it wouldn’t make sence. Sure Cuz is the better player, but for his attitude he isn’t THAT much of an upgrade that a trade of Greg Monroe would absolutly warrant it. It would favor SAC though, even though they would be getting a less talented player in return (Monroe is talented, but DMC has a whole world of untapped talent and has a chance to be the best C in the league if he would just get it together) but at least would get rid of the headcase.

No way. Bosh’s ability to stretch the floor is key for them, really opens things up for the rest of them. Don’t mess with what works. Also, Sac-Town with Bosh just becomes Toronto 2.0.

Chris Bosh for Cousins .
Good trade for both teams. a little more riskier for the Heat, but I have faith that Riley and the heat culture can reign him in.
It would give the Kings a dependable star that would possible enable them to compete.
It would give the Heat the low post presence that they need.

Cousins to the C’s is tantalizing. Talent-wise he’d be a huge upgrade for some of our biggest weaknesses (Size, rebounding, big man depth etc). Obviously its a huge question mark whether he can keep his head on straight, but being around KG could be the best thing possible for him. I wouldn’t get rid of Rondo, Pierce, KG or Bradley, but would consider it if a package of other vets (Lee? Terry? Bass? Green?) could get this done. Worth the risk in my mind, we won’t beat the Miami’s and OKC’s of the world with the current roster.
