Jarrett Jack throws Dorell Wright’s shoe into the crowd (VIDEO)

Jarrett Jack, Jrue Holiday

One of the nice things about Dwyane Wade‘s integrity coming into question this week was that we all got to happily remember the time Wade threw Mike Bibby’s shoe out of bounds. It was pure comedy gold. From Wade’s subtle toss not to arouse suspicion, to Bibby’s “come on bro” expression afterward, to Wade’s taunting backpedal…it’s just a winning moment all the way around.

As you’ve probably heard by now, it’s a copycat league. Players are always stealing moves. It’s the way of the world. So what happens when Dorell Wright loses his shoe during a play? Jarett Jack borrows a move from Wade:

He didn’t just toss it he flung it out there.

There’s a HUGE difference between Wade throwing Bibby’s shoe to the side near the bench and Jack throwing Wright’s shoe into the 6th row of the stands.

Shouldn’t that be a tech? Tossing your opponent shoe into the stands is considered unsportsman-like.

Not sure that should be a technical foul. Jack had to get the shoe off the court as it was a potential tripping hazard. He definitely threw it farther than he needed to but he’s also not paying attention to exactly where he was throwing the shoe since he’s trying to keep his eye on the ball at the same time. Tough call.

I expect someone as hot-headed and immature as dwayne wade doing that, but I expected Jack to be a little more mature. At least Jack needed to get the shoe out of the way, unlike the wade prank where it didn’t matter because play was on the other end.
