It’s not just doing Johnson wrong, it’s making a drastic move without having any plan. He was coach of the month in Nov and now he’s replaced by a guy they have zero interest in keeping beyond this season. What did they think they were gaining? It’d be one thing if they’d had their long-term solution ready to step in, but instead they’re basically writing off the season. There’s zero motivation for these guys to listen to PJ.

They did Avery dirty with this firing. The man was forced to coach scrubs(deron and lopez were injured alot) the last 2 years all in a hope of landing dwight and deron. Then you finally get more talent and u fire him after the best start in franchise history. Yes the were slumping in december but what team doesnt hit a slump during the season. In my opinion he deserved better just like mike brown in LA. Thats jus my 2 cents.
