I would have thought that a basket-case like smith who has had problems in the past wouldn’t be treated like a darling and get away with that dirty play. But I also would have never guessed that someone with a sparkling past like Tim Duncan would be ejected for giggling on the bench. And I’m sure we all remember czar stern punishing the Spurs for a rule he made up the same day. I really don’t understand what the refs and NBA management are thinking sometimes. I usually ignore conspiracy theories but it’s getting harder to ignore how some players and teams seem to get away with a lot more than others.

i agree with franchise. it wasnt a normal foul by any standards. If a guy commits a dirty foul and knocks someone outta the game, my response isnt SWAG ON JR 5000 GREAT JOB. it is simply, wow… that was unnecessary and he should probably pay for it. whether it be payback from a teammate or league fine

guarantee emosnar didnt even watch the play, yet if he did he probably wouldnt know what he saw anyway

This isnt your typical hard foul. You dont undercut a player when they are in the air. Its one of those things that players know they should never do. I understand the league not doing anything cause they make horrible decisions all the time. For example, a hit in the nuts is not worse than this.

The problem I have with this is that no one on the Suns did anything about it. Why would you let him get away with taking out your starting pg like that?

Man the media really hates JR Smith. Players get injured from other players all the time. You don’t see every article saying “thanks to such and such for the injury” STFU and deal with it. I love the game winning shot. JR is a big time player not afraid to take the big shot. Keep doing your thang JR. The haters can kick rocks. Swag on 1000. Oh yeah get well Goran. Just part of the game.
