Brazilian backup point guard Leandro Barbosa has missed the Celtics last three games for personal reasons, going back to his native country to deal with some family issues.
Not that Boston missed him all that much, he was playing less than 10 minutes a game in six out of the last seven games before he left. But it never hurts to have depth, and Barbosa tweeted Thursday that he was on his way back to the States.
Guys tomorrow I will return to Boston, thank God everything is good now with my family!!

We hope everything is alright with his family and wish him the best.
It is unknown if he will come out to California and catch up with the Celtics, who play a back-to-back Saturday and Sunday against Golden State and Sacramento.

Good thing your back barbosa as the guard position was thin. Back up to 5 guards for 1spot

No matter what people say, Celtics players have class. Throughout the decades.
