I had a running joke/kinda serious thing going with my friends to campaign for ‘Felton for All-Star’. I was hoping they would put a 3rd pg in the roster and he would make the cut. Unfortunately that won’t happen, as a result it is going to be Rhondo, DWill, and K Irving.

The injuries are really starting to mount up for this team, Melo, Stat, Shump, Sheed, Camby(been out most of year) and now Felton. Hopefully they can go .500 til all star break when the team hopefully comes together.

Felton is a tough dude. Even if Roger Hinds forces him to rest (because he would play through it with a splint like Kobe if he could), he will be back on the front end of that 4-6 window, not the back end. Either way, we’ll have him, Stoudemire and Shump back and fully ready to go in February.

May not be an issue of if he is willing to play any role, it may be is he willing, and able to play any role. Nothing about his past would make me to believe he will make it some kind of public issue, or pout about it or anything like that. But nothing about his past lead me to believe that he will be able to morph into another type of player, and still be effective either.

Chandler would probably do anything you ask him to aslo. But if you decide to ask him to start shooting 10-12 times a game from 15 feet out, he’s not going to be as effective. Not becuase he doen’st want to, or is acting out, just because it’s not his game, and he can’t play comfortable, therefore instinctual, therefore well

Kurt, stop it now…please. Nothing and I mean nothing about Stat’s past or all of his public and reportedly private conversations lead anyone, who is remotedly clued into the Knicks, to believe that this will be an issue. He’s said he’s willing to play any role and unlike with most stars I actually believe him. He has always seemed like a stand up dude.

You’re trying to create a story before there is one…stop it.
