Everybody I know is rooting for Roy, but there’s no positive spin to the fact that he took a lot of time off from basketball to rest his knees and pursued experimental treatments before coming back, yet required surgery soon after the season started despite playing limited minutes.

Does anybody think he’ll do better after mid-season knee surgery than he did after a prolonged break from basketball?

Roy is done, period. His knees have zero cushioning left. Call it quits, this is getting silly.

Roy’s gonna end up looking like Cool Hand Luke when Dragline kept knocking him down. “Stay down, Luke!” Maybe Roy needs to watch that to realize there’s a time to call it quits, and that time was two years ago for him.
