On this day, 48 years ago, with Willie Naulls replacing an injured Tommy Heinsohn; for the first time in NBA history, a team had a starting lineup that was all Black. Coach Red Auerbach says he didn’t even realize what he had done until a reporter pointed it out to him a few weeks later. Along with their all Black starting team, the Celtics also had an all White bench.

There’s talent around Williams. Having Lopez out those few games then coming back with limited time hurt them. Some of the parts don’t match with Avery Johnson’s scheme, plus the team needs to get some guys who can help their transition game.

Nets are mediocre at best. Been saying it all season. Humphries and Wallace are bench players. Joe Johnson is just a name.

Deron Williams has no talent around him. He can’t do it all by himself.

Thanks Kurt for the backhanded compliment that the Celtics beat a team that rolled over and died for them. Luckily they found a doormat to beat up on, according to Kurt “laker ball washer” Helin. You simply can’t give the Cs their due when they win and frankly its petty.

This Celtics fan thinks the Nets big money guys need to take a clue from Gerald Wallace. He was playing his ass off trying to get them back into it while Williams, Johnson and Lopez went through the motions.

Also is MarShon Brooks in the doghouse? They need an offensive spark and he’s a guy that can get hot and score in bunches.
