After losses to the Wizards & Warriors they were 14-6, ‘down’ by their championship standards.

Specifically, their defense has been down. Last year they ranked 4th in defensive efficiency. Early this season they were floating around the mid-20′s before making a lineup change by starting Haslem and giving Joel Anthony some bench minutes. Now the Heat are ranked 13th in D efficiency, 3rd in O efficiency and are riding a 4 game winning streak. That’s the up part.

Not a “must win” game for the heat but the thunder have to show they can go on the road and beat the heat. Sort of like the lakers/celtics Christmas game in 2008 although that was in LA
