Video: Spike Lee showing love for the legend Bernard King

As it tends to do, the NBA is breaking out some new promotional ads on Christmas and that is one of them.

Spike Lee — staring and directing — giving some love to the New York legend Bernard King is one. And King can really never get enough love on this blog.

There will be a couple other new NBA “BIG” ads on Christmas as well.

Benardo is 1 of my all time favorite Knicks,sure hope that Melo can reach such a plateau

Bernard King was my dad’s favorite player and was mine, even though we traded him to Washington the year after I began watching the Knicks (and the knee injury was one of my first Knicks memories).

You really mean that Spike could take the time off from posting the WRONG address and NAME of the people he thought were the Zimmermans ? What a shocker ! Lee was relevant 20 years ago.

It will be a long, long time ,as in an eternal type long time before Carmelo Anthony can even be mentioned in the same……(pause to exhale)…….breath with Bernard King.
