People cry about the direction the NFL is going in player safety. I tell you this, the NFL knows for a fact that they are seeing a downward trend in parents putting their kids in football. The word “concussion” is enough for parents to start pushing basketball and baseball and excluding football.
You better believe the NFL HATES the idea losing Lebron type athletes in the future.
The choices for these young special talents are becoming simple
Short NFL career and the chance to destroy your body for non guaranteed contracts?
Or Baseball/Basketball

The NFL knows that there is a competition for these special talented athletes, and they want to turn the tide. This video is just a reminder of what the NFL doesn’t want to miss out in the future.

QB D. Wade and WR/TE Lebron James. maybe they’ll make this happen if they win another championship or two and wanna try something to new to add to their pro sports resume’. They have player options in their contract they can opt out of in a couple seasons, but then again it’ll be impossible for them to turn down a guaranteed $20 million salary to play for a $2-3 million per year ‘rookie’ contract in the NFL. one can only dream

Most defensive backs and linebackers in the NFL are under 6’2″, so the 6’8″ LeBron would have a half-foot height advantage, and that’s not even taking into account his terrific leaping ability and long-reach. Also, it’s safe to say that LeBron has good hands.

So LeBron, in theory, would be basically a bigger, more athletic version of Rob Gronkowski, who is a tight end that is virtually unstoppable in the redzone because of his combination of size, body control, and hands.
