Stevie Franchise did well in his return to the Rockets before he retired from injury. Coaching is more of the problem IMO.

Isiah knows talent , check out the players he has drafted.
The only player he blew it on was Curry, that BIG good for nothing….
otherwise a lot of those players were good after they left the Knicks.

He’s a good talker. I’ll never forget his “I just got back from Red Lobster” blast on Jim Rome’s radio show some years back, after Chucky Brown had been singing the praises of the NBA player per diem, which was enough money to “go to Red Lobster, get a good meal”, unlike his daily meal money in the CBA. Isiah has a sense of humor, and his broadcast work has been good. He would probably be real funny with Barkley, Shaq, Kenny and Ernie on TNT, but there’s really not room for a fifth wheel on that show.
