I remember being 4’11 as a freshman in high school and literally getting crushed by the 5-6ft kids when I tried to drive. Then again this isn’t high school. These are supposed to be professional athletes.

Honestly I saw it when it happened and I thought he went up and then went to swat the ball away when Lin tried to pull it back and go up and under Chandler…I didn’t think it was a flagrant because it looked to me like he was going for the ball and just whiffed on the move but the refs saw it the way they did

Takes a lot of guts to get violent with someone 10 inches shorter than you who is in a position where they cant protect Themselvrs. Its inspiration for every 5’9 guy out there who’s tired of getting abused by some 4’11 kid on the playground. Chandler showed all of us how to act next time that 4’11 kid tries to drive the lane on us.

I don’t think he meant to do it. There was actually a fan four rows up who had a remote control directing his elbow. Chandler was simply an innocent bystander…..

What did anyone expect? It’s not like Chandler (or anyone else on the Knicks) protected Lin from enduring similar hits when Lin was ON their team last year…
