Really, who does have an answer for LeBron in either the 4 or the low post? I would posit no one.

Celtics certainly have a problem in the post. Sullinger is developing but he’s not a high impact first year player. If they can’t get someone, Green and Bradley (if he stays healthy) could help open lanes on offense. However, they’re still going to have a problem in post play on defense.

Granted, the Knicks and Clippers are playing incredible to start the season (can’t believe I typed that). In the end, I’m not shocked to see a Miami/Thunder repeat in The Finals.

Doc’s not stupid. He’s a helluva coach and he sees the writing on the wall with this team. With Pierce winding down and their main perimeter threat this Celtics squad is pretty much on its last legs. Its a finesse jumpshooting team that has no low post presence and WOEFUL rebounding and transition.

Their main hope is that Bradley turns into a baby Bruce Bowen and Jeff Green can take the next step of being a solid 15ppg higher scorer.

When Garnett goes to the bench they have one of the worst frontcourts in the NBA outside of shooting.

And still have no answer for Lebron playing the 4 spot or playing out of the low post.

Celtics will be fine. As long as they don’t dig too deep a hole, they’ll finish strong and be a team nobody wants to face come playoffs. I wish it wasn’t true but it is.
