If Nash can knock down open shots it will help them tremendously in transition. Its not a coincidence their biggest win in a while was when Darius Morris scored 15 in the first half and was doing his Steve Nash 3 point impersonation.

Teams can’t run on the Lakers if they are scoring points. Plus the ball in his will cut down on the atrocious turnover rate they have. For as All World Mamba is creating for other is not his game and its why his turnover rate is sky high for him this year.

They just can’t lean on the old man too heavy…Morris has to step up or make a run at Delonte West.

Nash isnt coming back Saturday. He didnt say that. He said he’s “hoping” to be back on Christmas day. He will make his decision after he see’s how his leg responds to practice this week. This is dumb. Stop all the speculation…Last I checked, this isnt ESPN.com

Thanks Kurt for including that last sentence about Pau Gasol, the most important sentence of the article. I’m hoping that Gasol can get to being more active in the offense and defense with his knees feeling better. I just hope that Clueless Dumbtoni figures out how to properly use Pau’s awesome skills, so far Dumbtoni has been a total dunce at how to give the Lakers a successful offense or defense.

I’m conflicted about Ancient Nash returning. He’s just too old and slow to play defense against the best young point guards who will run circles around him. He will now take valuable playing time away from the young point guards who have been gaining a lot of good playing experience.

Ancient Nash had better earn his pay once he gets back, or he needs to be traded away ASAP to get a good young point guard who can play defense. Whatever happened about the Delonte West rumor?

Nash will be tested right away if he plays, since I consider those to all be top-10 seeds (playoff or near playoff teams).

As a Lakers fan, I am excited to hear this news. But then again, I have to remind myself that even with all those guys the Lakers for winless in preseason and looked terrible before Nash got hurt (albeit only 2 games and under Mike Brown/Princeton offense). It’s just hard to believe that the Lakers will be THAT MUCH better. I’m hoping I’m wrong but…
