If you don’t do any homework, just take whatever propaganda that NYK spread, then you are fooled by them.
The fact is like this: someone in NYK said they would match up to a billion, so Rockets owner/GM uppered their offer, and NYK just chickened out. It’s as simple as that.

Good for Lin he has been all over the place this year, he had a great role in NY in that off scheme where he could freelance and make plays.

He will settle in Houston and be a nice player for them.

kid never aked for an inch of Linsanity, that media blew him up, not his fault they made him seem like the best player in the league.

He has a nice open court game and a good transition player with some pesky D in the passing lanes.

Thats about it.

would be a nice value to any team, but a star player? His NY stretch was impressive but not too sure he gets even close to that again with Harden on his team.

A friend in L.A. asked me “why are they booing?” I replied “here in L.A., we think we respect people by waiting until they leave the room before being sarcastic about them. In New York sarcasm is respect.” Just some good-natured sports rivalry, if you ask me.

I believe the Knicks were going to match the original Houston offer but his agent went
back to the Rockets and they got more money and did a creative thing by paying him
15 mil in the last year. The Knicks would have paid 30 mil for that year with the tax.
