I agree that both Amare and Melo can co-exist, but remeber Kurt Thomas is a roll player and does not demand the ball to create shots. Thomas is only out there filling a role that is open because Amare is still rehabbing.. Once all players on IR are back to full strength is when we will see and it will be determined if they CAN co-exist. It all depends on Amare doing whats best for the team, by trying to fit in where he is needed. If Coach Woodson feels it is best he come off the bench than that should be excepted by him and all players involved. He is stil getting paid top dollar either way. Kurt Thomas should not be used as a measuring stick to determine if Amare and Carmelo can co-exist.

that’s not where he will be most effective. He’ll be most effective starting, where Woody said he will end up. Mark my words, this will work this season. Also in the article it said Melo has had all his success at the 4, that’s not true. A couple of the games Kurt Thomas started and Melo was at the 3. He can succeed there and co exist with Amare

listen where he starts out in the rotation is not important at this stage of the of the game. having him on the floor by the minnesota game is, lets make that happen

He will accept the role Woody gives him, coming off the bench with the second unit.
He will be most effective in this situation.
He is a good guy, I believe it will all work out.

My how the mighty have fallen. Just a couple years ago he was the King of NY. He was The Man. I really hope he gets back to his old self and doesn’t dwindle to an OLD self. I used to LOVE STAT man, his game was sweet back in the days!
