They got rid of Fisher because he was a turnover machine, could not shoot, and could no longer play the PG position; all of which Nash is the complete opposite.

It’s popular to say that Nash won’t improve the defense, but it’s actually not true. What he will help is the Lakers cutting down on turnovers and there will be more made baskets, so while he won’t help the halfcourt defense, that’s not really the Lakers problem.

Ouch.

I’m gonna have to err on the side of caution and say Nash will probably see a game late January. Being I’m close to his age I know how I bounced back from hangovers and nerve damage when I was 23 and then again at 39. What am I saying? He’s clearly a world class athlete and me a mere mortal. It was worth a shot.

“hopefully” doesn’t sound too good lol. Nash won’t play if he’s still sore. Even if he does lakers will still suck and Nash will get hurt again. Bye bye lakers. Enjoy being the bottom feeders of the west.

I’m not so sure I care as a Laker fan to have Ancient Nash come back too soon. He’d better make darned sure he’s fully healed, if he comes back too early and then re-injures himself that would be a waste. I think he is the wrong point guard at the wrong time for the Lakers. Geez they got rid of Fisher because he was too old and slow to defend the young point guards, then they double down on an older PG who never plays defense. I’m actually glad the ancient old geezer got injured, it gave the young guards some important playing time and they are improving.

I say to Ancient Nash, haste makes waste – do not hurry back only to get injured again. That will cause severe nerve irritation to the whole Laker Nation.
