As for the C’s, most of those championships were taken in a decade where the league had only 8 to 10 teams and in a social atmosphere where it is more of an exception that the likes of Russell and Chamberlain get to play in the NBA.

Would you think that guys like Jordan, Kobe, LeBron, Durant, and Carmelo, to name a few, would have had the same opportunity to be who they are in the NBA if they lived in the 60′s?

I can’t wait for Pau to return, hopefully Tuesday against a lame Bobcats team. Nash’s return will be somewhat welcome, he’ll do well on offense if Dumbtoni can ever come up with a viable offensive scheme but he will suck at playing defense. Good thing Steve Flake will remain injured so the young guards get more playing time. Hopefully Jordan Hill comes back Tuesday as well.

Do you laker fans understand why we call them the FAKERS now?

Nash and/or Gasol wont help much either. Not even Phil can help this group of knuckleheads.

But one should realize that, irrespective of his percentage, when he has more shot attempts than his team’s assists, the Lakers are 1-10, whereas when his team has more assists than he does shot attempts, they are 10-4.

And while a win is a win, but both of these teams were without two of their prospective starting stars.

If the Lakers were fakes, what makes that of other teams outside the Heat and Spurs who couldn’t make two titles in this decade?

In this millennium only the Lakers were able to DEFEND their title.
