Why don’t you expand on your comment bigbeachball? Back it up a little…..especially since you’re completely wrong. Why won’t he be the same player?? Does the ACL affect his passing ability? Does it affect his court vision, his playmaking ability, his feel for the game? The answer is no on all accounts. He’s not an explosive player that beats guys one on one and drives to dunk. He’s an true point guard who’s vision and playmaking ability makes everybody on his team better. He will do nothing but get better and fulfill his promise of being an NBA star. Your turn…..

Yeah and this is a basketball blog so I come here to hear a writer’s personal opinion on how this could negatively or positively affect the Timberwolves. He is writing it like a weak news article. I knew Rubio was coming back long before I read this from actual newspapers.

It is a legitimate platform to express my opinion , RE: a specific team, player, or story. I would go to a Minnesota site, but it’s already been said. The purpose of coming to this blog is to get a different or fresh perspective. But if the writer just copies and pastes what is already been said on the local sites, then that is just lazy reporting! This is a blog, not a article in a newspaper. What that means is that you have the opportunity to contribute to the conversation without wondering whether your letter to the editor will be printed.

So, you have a choice:
Either amend the post–which is about Rubio’s return, by the way–with info you find valuable, rather than the cursory factoids you bitchingly allude to.

Justin, could not agree more! The modern sports reporting has become so vanilla. If you are not the Lakers, Nicks, Clippers, or Heat, why even bother reading the reports.
Same goes for NFL, Patriots, Packers, Jets, Giants, Steelers.
Baseball, Yankees, Dodgers, Red Socks,
It is so boring these days, hopefully, a real sports network will emerge, and get to the good stuff that we as fans all clamor for

This is such a bland write up on the excitement that is his return. It is also clear that it comes from someone who doesn’t ever watch the Wolves. Shved won’t be providing depth at the PG position. He can be a primary ball-handler but he plays the 2. How about some mention of JJ Barea too? Or Josh Howard’s hyperextended knee. Or Love’s 7-35 shooting the last two games.

But no instead quote the team website and check our injury report real quick and our record for the last 6 games. Write up complete! Now back to some Lakers stories!
