this is called the game of basketball. not golf. this is not an individual game, so sometimes it takes your teammates’ support to really push your game to the next level. dwight howard’s game really shines when surrounded by 3 point bombers. ray allen’s game get tougher to defend when he has 2 or 3 of his teammates setting screens for him to get the space he needs. my point is, bargnani IS good player. what i mean by good is that he is NOT bad, so trying to downplay my comments for calling him good is only you speaking in specifics. i was saying he was good because your comments seem to make him sound like a disgrace, when he is not. playing with a great rebounder and defender like dwight is not a knock on his abilites. this is a team game. and coaches think in this way a lot. gm’s find how pieces fit together. basketball is a game of synergy.

No, people want to crucify him because he’s the #1 reason why they are the worst team in the NBA. This is HIS team, he is the corner stone and he didn’t show up at ALL all season long.

Under 40% shooting from a soft shooter is unacceptable.
Anyone who had any leadership or balls would accept responsibility for many of the teams failures not just throw the team under the bus as someone else’s problem.

No team can win with this guy being anything more than the 3rd option on the floor

Let me tell you something, 1st overall players need to be more than “Good”
7 foot 1st overall picks should not require a Dwight Howard to reach their potential
Andrea was just saying a month ago how he doesn’t need to work on his shot, that he’s working on other things.
Sub 40% shooting is indefensible and not sure if you’re serious about magically “adding four more rebounds”

Good players are consistently Good, Andrea isn’t even close to being consistently good on the floor and last I checked 2006 was a long time ago.

The Raptors made a massive mistake taking him over Aldridge.
Your post is insane, you’re defending his by saying they need to hide the fact that he has so many of his flaws.
And you think that makes him good?

i see where u were going, but slow down.

bargnani is a good player. add four more rebounds to his stats and he would be that dude. his game is amazing when he is clicking. he can put the ball on the floor and move pretty well for a 7 footer. they say he plays more like a SF and imagine him next to a true rebounder and defender like dwight. he’d hide so many of barg’s deficiencies

And Bargnani is good as gone. The guy thinks he’s awesome and can make all the shots. Too bad that’s only in practice. Massively over-rated player who’s got to go.
