Pippen is most definitely broke, but not for reasons typical of most. He literally got robbed blind by his accountant. Seriously. Google it. People who think Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf is cheap should realize he’s paying Pippen $500,000 a year to be a “Special Ambassador” for the team purely to help Pip get his financial situation cleaned up. Pippen has several multimillion dollar lawsuits pending on bogus real estate deals signed without his approval by his accountants. They basically robbed him.

According to basketball-reference.com, in 17 seasons, Pippen earned a little over $109 million. Keep in mind, that’s just salary. Endorsements hike the total a decent amount higher. I doubt Pippen is “broke”.

That said, I say good for him on the new reality TV show. Both people watching it should enjoy it.

it sounds like Pippen is taking cabs, selling jewelry, and sitting by himself courtside at Bulls games. I think there is a typo.. it should be VH1 and not WE TV.
