What's the point of having a number one pick in a weak draft year without a good number one prospect? The last team that had a number one pick in a sub-par draft year was, in fact, the Raptors, who picked Bargnani with their number one. Since then, Rose, Griffin, Wall, Irving, & Davis (excluding the injury prone Oden, who had Durant right behind him anyway) were number ones, or in other words, players anyone would rather have on their team over Bargnani.

One good thing about last night though was the Raptors played a good game in spite of the missing players, and pushed the Nets until the end. Hopefully these injuries will give some younger players some more time to develop.

Yep, I'm happy with this.

The season's long gone by now...let Valuncianus, Davis, Ross and Derozan just jack up shots and hopefuly improve for next year. Trade Bargnani and Calderon at the deadline, and keep Lowry healthy.

And then hope that the Raptors get one of the top 3 picks (although as a Toronto sports fan, you just know they're gonna land the 4th pick lol).

Translation: we're so bad that we might as well tank now and hope we can keep that first round pick for next draft. Only problem is that Davis coming in for Bargs will probably get us a couple wins. He put up 24 and 12 tonight, the latter number being Bargnani's average rebound total for a full season.
