Video: LeBron skies for the alley-oop dunk

Dec 11, 2012, 1:11 AM EDT

Some plays, no matter how often they happen, still make you say wow. LeBron James catching a lob and finishing with his torso above the rim is one such play.

The Heat haven’t gotten as many of these types of plays this year due to fewer forced turnovers, but no team is better at changing ends and turning an opponent’s miscue into a highlight. Especially when it’s LeBron doing the finishing.

Agree 100%. I played college hoops so I’m not astounded by seeing large athletic dudes, but this guy is ridiculous. Every single time I see him in person I marvel at how someone that size can run so fast, move so quickly and jump so high. I really hope like Jordan he can develop other parts of his game so he can be around for a while. I know a lot of people still hate this dude, but I love watching him play!

Elbow above the rim. Look at Horford jump and how much higher LeBron gets. Amazing!

I’m convinced LeBron could easily dunk on a 14 foot basket!
