I just didn’t read that much into the article. But I think you are missing a finer point: Phil Jackson probably doesn’t come back to coach at all, ever. If he couldn’t pull the trigger fast enough for the Lakers, he isn’t going to coach any other team in this league.

And you are forgetting (or perhaps just don’t know) that there is bad blood between Phil Jackson and the Clipper ownership/management group (Phil having heavily criticized the Clippers more than once in his tenure in Los Angeles), so if you think Jim Buss doesn’t want the Zen Master, then you haven’t seen nothing yet…Sterling would rather his toes cut off then install Phillip as the Clipper coach.

Vinny Del Negro is doing a great job by essentially doing nothing. That’s a privilege of having the best point guard running the show for you.

Which now gone GM are you talking about? John Paxson? He’s “gone” because he moved further up in the executive branch. Vinnie is a decent coach, but he’s no Thibodeau. If the situations were reversed the Clippers would likely be 20-0 right now.

You’re right Phil is not in the article. But Kurt always is bring up Phil as a possible replacement of several other vacant or soon to be vacant coaching jobs, weather or not Phil is a good fit for them. If you read between the lines, this story was written with an angle that Vinny must win AND be liked by his players to keep his job.As we know, most successful coaches are not liked by their players, but they win anyway. Donald Sterling has a long history of firing coaches by the bushel, so Kurt is just riding his coat tails. Next time I’ll use a 5 th grade writing level for you so you can understand. I don’t need or use drugs to get high , I ski on 7500 foot high mountains, natural high.Black Diamond runs.

This might be the worst post in PBT history. Phil Jackson is not mentioned in the article, there is not even a HINT as to replacing VDN.

Stay away from the ‘shrooms, badintent. Or whatever it is you are medicating yourself with.
