“But you have to remember: I hated the Bulls growing up. I was a Knicks fan. I was in (Madison Square) Garden when Michael Jordan wore No. 45 and scored 55. I was a sad little boy.”
—Bulls center Joakim Noah, when talking about the possibility of him being the first Bulls center to be an All-Star since Artis Gilmore, and the history of the Bulls with the Chicago Tribune.
Noah is all in with the Bulls now, but that wasn’t the case when he was a child, bouncing around the globe with his tennis star father.

I understand, I hated Jordan for knocking the knicks off just about every year, so I never really enjoyed his skills. Nearly twenty years later I wear no other sneaker besides Jordans.

I love catching old Bulls vs Knicks games from the early 90s on NBA Classics. Some of the best basketball you will ever watch in your life. Two well-coached teams, skilled at all 5 positions on both teams. Starks vs Jordan. Pippen vs Mason. Riley and Jackson literally hated each other. Good family fun.
