The leaping ability of JaVale McGee has been well-documented, yet he gave us another example of his skill in this department on Friday night against the Pacers.
McGee gets the ball on the wing, and after a single dribble, elevates and throws it down over Ian Mahinmi — literally. Afterward, he celebrates by … shoveling imaginary food into his mouth? JaVale being JaVale, I suppose.
This was not a dunk by any definition. But given the elevation and distance from the hoop, it might have been even more impressive.

Just a heads up from the NBC sports talk app users… However this is formatted, there’s no video or link to the video that can be accessed. I suppose I could go to a browser and look it up, but that sorta defeats the purpose and I’m lazy.
Thanks for the great content, though. I do enjoy the blog.

It’s like the one Durant missed last week, where I was thinking, that’s way cooler looking than a dunk. I’d like to see more of these.
