I would bet that the child has lived a more then above average life which was paid for by Rodman. The money is the extra for the baby mama. People that are on here thinking he is a dead beat dad are sorely mistaken. I bet that kid has more money then most of us as well as the mother who has probably never worked a day in her life except dropping nba player babies.

Very true statement,but from everything of his I have read he probably doesn’t even know what you are talking about. IOW he has heard the word but didn’t really know what it means – forget how to spell it.

Which makes him eminently qualified to be a sportswriter along with such as Mike Florio.

if he did not want to be responsible for them he should have taken measures not to have them. he did not so he has to pay for them. not the kids fault he was not smart enough to have a payment agreement in place or follow thru with it if he did. do not feel a bit sorry for this overrated clown at all. maybe you fans should take up a collection to help him out since you created this monster by supporting him and his sick ways. he deserves no sympathy for blowing all that money and not taking care of his kids.

#fotydaze, there’s an interesting website called basketball-reference.com. If you just do a Google search on any player’s name with the word ‘salary’ after it, that website is one of the first listed.

Rodman made $26,965,000 just in salary over his career. Who knows what endorsements pulled in. He’s got the money. As much as he blows, hard to believe he doesn’t have some of it stashed away, or at least you’d like to think he does.

There is needing child support for the proper upbringing of the child and then there is the bleeding a rich guy. I’m no fan of his (well, sort of I guess) but put a cap on how much a woman should receive. Let him spend his millions.

“Rodman has become a character of himself.” He’s playing himself? Or did you mean “caricature,” which is defined as a picture, description, etc., ludicrously exaggerating the peculiarities or defects of persons or things. There are responsibilities in journalism you can’t shy away from.
