Well, not playing with max effort finally caught up with Miami on a night they couldn’t knowck down their open looks down the stretch. Congrats to the Wizards, they didn’t back down and got the win.

I’d love to believe this wakes Miami up, but I doubt it. They are coasting on defense and hustle plays and probably will continue to do so because they still win most games playing that way. A top 3 seed in the East is all but assured and staying healthy is priority no. 1. Still, can’t wait for the Knicks game on Thursday, I imagine we’ll see a different animal. Saturday against the Hornets/Pelicans? Back to close games against inferior competition.

So Kurt, all of that pregame talk about how the Wizards have no chance, and look how it ends up. The Heat end up in another close game with another awful team. The only difference this time was Ray Allen wasn’t able to bail them out this time. Maybe instead of slurping Lebron and the Heat on this site everyday, try hiding your Lebron obsession a bit more so we can take you seriously.
